Just as she promised during our conversation at the recent East Austin Urban Farm Tour, chef Kristine Kittrell is adding weekend brunches and a small, exclusive supper club at Weather Up a couple of times a month.
The brunch kicks off this Sunday, April 27 from noon-4pm with a very inviting international entrée menu, meat and cheese plates, and a lineup of drinks including Bloody Marys, Bloody Hell, Micheladas, and several Champagne cocktails. They’ll be adding Saturday brunch next week on May 3.The bimonthly supper club will feature a five-course meal with cocktail pairings for $75. The series starts Thursday, April 24, but the inaugural dinner is already sold out. Going forward, Kittrell says they plan to offer the dinners twice a month on Thursdays for as many as 14 people, but are willing to accommodate groups of at least eight diners who would like to book a supper club on Sunday through Thursday evenings.
