Truck by Truckwest Tasting Tour Kicks Off Tonight

Producer Brian Erickson has come up with a great way for Austinites to support their favorite food trucks. Drop by Trailer Food Tuesday on the Long Center patio from 5-9pm tonight to get a Truck by Truckwest tasting badge. More than sixty local trailers have signed up to participate in the six day tasting tour, which means there’s plenty of work to be done planning tour itineraries. Purchase badges here and check out the list of trailers here. Then, start making plans to eat out and vote for your favorite truck on the tour. The participating trailer that garners the most votes over the six-day tasting tour will be designated as the “Best Food Truck in Austin” and win a $10,000 business development grant sponsored by Green Sky Coaching and underwritten by the Wine & Food Foundation of Texas. The tasting tour last through Sunday, Nov. 3rd.
