Renowned San Francisco-area baking maven Flo Braker has updated and added to her wonderful collection of recipes for bite-size treats with this new paperback edition. Braker is a founding member of the Bay area baker’s group, Baker’s Dozen, a columnist with the San Francisco Chronicle, a lifelong baker, and former caterer. Her company, Occasional Baking, specialized in miniature desserts and many of Braker’s signature recipes from that time in her life appear in this book. The recipes are exact, carefully explained, and always reliable, with helpful hints and baking notes to make everything clear. It’s a great gift idea for the baking artist on your list, someone with the desire to express their artistry by creating little pastry jewels.
