Owned by a pair of brothers, Hao Hao features a mix of popular Chinese dishes coupled with their Vietnamese menu. Where they really shine is with the blackboard Vietnamese specials, particularly the vegetarian dishes. Try the Spicy Viet Chicken Salad, the Kung Pao Tofu (Chinese dish, cooked Viet style), and make sure you get a large brimming bowl of the Hot and Sour Soup with noodles, pineapple, and shrimp or catfish. The Cannon location is one of the few outposts for Viet chow in South Austin.
