So many aspects of the holiday season trigger our memories — the sights, the sounds, the smells, and flavors. For some, a traditional dish can spark their reverie, while for others a certain place or family activity can bring familiar, comforting images of the past to mind. Members of the Food staff, Rebecca Chastenet de Géry, Barbara Chisholm, MM Pack, Mick Vann, and I, have shared some of our own holiday reminiscences in hopes that they’ll stimulate your appetite, make you laugh, or simply help create a festive sense of the season.
