Rather than a large collection of recipes, Lebo’s slim volume offers whimsical prose poems about a variety of pies, delightfully illustrated with the tools of the pie-maker’s trade by artist Jessica Lynn Bonin. Tucked into the back of the book are some sage suggestions for successful pie making, a hand full of recipes, and even directions on how best to eat pie. This charming little book could be the perfect holiday hostess gift or stocking stuffer for the true pastry artist on your gift list.
