Peached Tortilla food trunk owner Eric Silverstein flew to New York City earlier this week to film a cooking segment as part of LIVE’s Truckin’ Amazing Cook-Off on the popular syndicated talk show, LIVE with Kelly & Michael which airs on KVUE at 9am CST weekdays.

Peached Tortilla is one of ten finalists in the food truck cooking competition and one of only four contestants not located in the Northeast. Due to the time and distance involved, Silverstein chose to fly to New York for the taping rather than drive one of this business trucks to Manhattan.

Silverstein will prepare Peached Tortilla‘s signature barbecue brisket taco for the on-air hosts and studio audience members. After his appearance, the viewing audience will have 48 hours to vote for Peached Tortilla online to insure that the Austin truck makes the finals. At the end of the ten week contest period, the four trucks with the highest number of votes will compete in a cook-off before a panel of judges. The winning truck will go home with $20,000!! Viewers who vote online are automatically registered to win a $500 gift card from Omaha Steaks.
