Some folks mark their 35th birthday with Botox and Pinot, and some mark it by maxing out the Amex on moisture-wicking golf separates. Luckily for the United Way for Greater Austin, Kerbey Lane Cafe is a lot less self-involved. To celebrate their upcoming anniversary, Kerbey Lane is going all Bill and Melinda Gates.

Between 6am Monday, May 4, to 6am Tuesday, May 5, Kerbey Lane will be giving away 100% of all net profits from all six* locations to UWATX. That’s a whole lot of dough to support education and financial initiatives. On May 4, from 6-8pm, they’ll also have stuff like face painting and miniature horses at all locations too. That’s officially for the kiddos, but we’re sure no one will protest if you just want a small butterfly on your cheek.

Leading up to the shindig, there will be 35 days of giveaways (“35 Days Until 35,” get it?) through their social media outlets. Prizes include T-shirts, gift cards, and that pancake mix you pass off as your own recipe whenever you host brunch.

*The original version of this post reported that all seven locations will be taking part in the birthday celebration. Unfortunately, the Round Rock Kerbey Lane will not be open in time.
