When the original Briggo test-market coffee kiosk was installed in the Flawn Academic Center in late 2011, both the novelty and convenience were embraced by coffee lovers. This week marked the debut of the company’s newly-designed Coffee Haus, and whole system is now even cooler.

The automated Briggo coffee system is designed to provide a convenient, consistently high-quality coffee experience in institutional situations such as airports, hospitals, college and corporate campuses. It’s the creation of another local start-up company with a great and timely idea; bringing together excellent Fair Trade coffee, robot baristas, cloud technology, and Smartphone convenience where customers least expect them. Austinites were bound to love it.

The newly-designed machines allow customers to view the robotics in action and to check the status of their order via the machine’s screen or their cell phone. A wider variety of coffee drinks, additives, and sizes are now available, as well. The Coffee Haus also features a mobile website and Briggo iPhone and Android apps are soon to be released.
