For anyone frustrated by the long lines at Jester King’s 3rd Annual Funk & Sour Fest over the weekend, the brewery has issued an apology on its website.
Held each year to celebrate Austin Beer Week, 1000 tickets were issued for the sold-out event. It’s no surprise the event was packed as Jester King Brewery rolled out more than 30 sours for the fest from various breweries including their own. Jester King’s showcase was impressive with three of their barrel-aged sours making their festival debut, including personal favorite Aurelian Lure, along with Nocturn Chrysalis and Omniscience & Proselytism. Jester King promises a smaller and more efficiently run fest next year, so we say forgive ’em and here’s to the future!
