After Royal Blue Grocery owner George Scariano turned me on to Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams in the fall of 2010, I immediately joined the legion of fans of the pricey premium brand founded by Jeni Britton Bauer in Columbus, Ohio.
Jeni’s distinctive flavors are a very consistent seller at all three local Royal Blue outlets, even at about $12 a pint. This week, Jeni’s sales representative Will Medewski will present free tasting demos of both pint flavors and ice cream sandwiches in the stores, so drop by for a little taste of heaven.
