When the final day of ACL was rained out, one of the questions buzzing around the local food media was what all the vendors would do with the food they had prepared to feed 75,000 people? Chef Allison Jenkins of the Say LaV trailer (in back at 1500 E. Sixth) is solving the problem with three days of early morning doughnut sales.

Say LaV was scheduled to serve food in the VIP Grove during the Gourmet Happy Hour on Sunday and Jenkins had prepped up a couple thousand of her signature sweet potato doughnut holes to delight the crowd. So, she’s turning her potential loss into a doughnut lovers’ gain, by opening the trailer from 8-10amWednesday, Thursday, and Friday mornings for half-price doughnut holes and complimentary coffee.
This is a one-time offer, only good these three days. Look for the trailer in its regular spot behind the Volstead Lounge (1500 E. Sixth) and use the side entrance on Onion Street.
