Allison Campbell’s Chewy Chai Meringue Cookies took top honors overall at Faraday’s Cookie Contest, winning the Other category and Best in Show. Tex-Mex Chocolate Cookies submitted by Michael Hegedus were judged best in the Chocolate category, and Suzanne Zucca topped the Decorated division with her Almond Snowflakes. After store customers tasted 50 different cookies, the Peanut Butter Surprise Balls by the mother-daughter team of Talaya and Talaya Ann Frazier were decreed the People’s Choice. Winners were awarded store gift certificates and prizes donated by sponsors. Check out some of the winning recipes in the sidebar below.
