Heritage Fire, established in Napa Valley in 2010, is a live-fire culinary event celebrating pasture diversity and local family farms.
And here comes the first Austin iteration of this meat-forward nationally touring festival, the “Nation’s Hottest Competition,” set to reveal its delicious wonders at Star Hill Ranch on Sunday, May 7, 4-7pm, featuring an all-star lineup of local chefs and artisans, each grilling globally inspired, heritage-breed proteins al fresco.
When we say all-star lineup, we mean the impressive likes of Geronimo Lopez (Botika), Andy Knudson (Tillies at Camp Lucy), Francisco Baca (Blind Salamander), Albert Gonzalez (Banger’s Sausage House & Beer Garden), David DeLeon (Quema Mas Cabron), Elias Vidal (Alice’s Restaurant at Treaty Oak Distillery), and more will be offering a wide array of beef, pork, lamb, goat, duck, seafood, chicken, and heirloom vegetables.
Bonus: Heritage Fire will also highlight free-flowing wine, brews, and craft cocktails from Angel’s Envy, Blade and Bow, George Dickel, San Simeon Wines, and more.
Note: All tickets ($125-175) are all-inclusive of unlimited curated dishes, beverage pairings, and live entertainment. And, after you’ve indulged in each dish, you can vote for the “Best Bite of the Day.” If you’d like more information in motion, citizen, watch this save-the-date video.
