Terry Taco Enterprises – the folks behind the popular P. Terry’s burger shops – announced that they will permanently close their remaining Taco Ranch location (5033 W. Hwy 290) on Fri., Nov. 3, in order to focus on their burger empire’s expansion into the Houston area. (We daresay, this town is not without sufficient taco options, n’est-ce pas? Tacodeli, anyone? The Cambria Hotel (68 East), adjacent to the Rainey Street district, has just opened its Limestone restaurant and cocktail lounge, featuring an impressive list of chef-driven dishes, including lamb chops with a balsamic glaze, labneh and fresh herbs; braised beef cheeks with pomegranate, feta, pickled peppers, carrots; and roasted octopus with lemon, parsley, loukaniko, kale, stewed white beans, and tomato. Fierce Whiskers Distillery (5333 Fleming Court) hosts their monthly special release party on Sat., Oct. 28, noon-4pm – with some four-legged special guests.
