Colder weather brings more than just the promise of a flushed face and fireside canoodle, it also delivers a maltier, heavier, and darker selection of beers brewed to warm from the inside out. Perfect for this evening, Craft Pride’s Certified Cicerone Tre Miner will take patrons in desperate need of a little toasting on a flight of Texas winter favorites.

In conjunction with Guadalupe Brewing’s tap takeover and glass giveaway, revelers will sample the (512) Bruin, Independence Convict Hill, Deep Ellum Double Brown, and a Guadalupe Chocolate Stout, among others. An experienced homebrewer and former graffiti artist, Miner honed his skills at Bangers and the Ginger Man before joining the opening crew at Craft Pride.

According to Miner, “I generally select the flight beers based on a number of criteria, most notably what is available for consumption and what beers can be pitted against one another. I want to maintain the idea of a theme throughout, whether it be a grouping of similar styles, a progression of one particular aspect in beer, or a sampling of different styles to highlight important differences.”
