It’s National Rosé Day this weekend (apparently), and while it’s not like we don’t kick back with a glass of the pink stuff on every possible occasion regardless of the date, it’s still nice to have it be a thing, you know? We’ve gathered a handy list of some of the best celebrations in town, plus a few of our favorite cocktails thrown in for good measure.

Dandy Bubble’s Release Party at Kitty Cohen’s
Kitty Cohen’s is already one of the best places in town to kick back with a glass of something pink (and, if we’re honest, take a selfie holding it in front of that fabulous flamingo wall art in the bathroom). So why not kick it up a notch at the release party for Rae Wilson’s brand new Texas grown sparkling rosé?

All Day Rosé at Café No Sé
That’s a bunch of accent marks to keep track of, right? And you could probably consider saying the whole phrase five times fast some kind of sobriety test. But there’s nothing complicated about this celebration, with twenty five percent off bottles all day long.
$5 Rosé Specials at Irene’s
Irene’s is dear to every rosé fan’s heart for their regular Saturday specials, including draft rosé, bubbles, and yes, of course, the holy grail of summertime imbibing, frosé. Sadly, this weekend’s celebrations don’t intersect with their end of the month drag brunch, but hey, guess you’ll have to make a return visit!

Austin Magazine’s Rosé and Ribs Soirée While the pairing of ribs and rosé might not make intuitive sense beyond the mnemonically friendly rhyme scheme, it actually does makes a certain amount of sense. Imagine the richness of ribs cut through with a sip of something dry and floral – much the same way alcohol numbs the embarrassment of hoarding meat shards in between your teeth – while gazing across the roof deck across the Austin skyline.
Rosé Cocktails!
The Rosé Pour Over, Café No Sé
It really doesn’t get more summery than imbibing a couple of strawberry rose paletas topped with fresh berries and, yes, rosé.
Next Level Frosé at Weather Up
Plenty of spots around town serve frosé, the hyper trendy brain freeze machine of your dreams, but the folks at Weather Up take it to the next level with pink grapefruit creme de fruits and fresh strawberries.
Rosé in a Can at Infinite Monkey Theorem
This unpretentious urban winery makes a mean canned rosé. Lightly carbonated and not too sweet, it’s the perfect summer picnic sip.
Rosé Bubbles and Vodka Recipe
If you’re feeling (very) fancy (and homebound), try this recipe for a Moët Mint 75.[Note: adapted from a recipe created by Ben Potts (Beaker & Grey, Miami)]
0.75oz lemon juice
0.5oz simple syrup
1oz vodka
3 raspberries
6 mint leaves
4oz Moët Ice Imperial Rosé
Method: Shake all the ingredients except for the champagne, strain into an ice-filled wine glass with three additional raspberries, and top with Moët Ice Rosé. Stir gently to incorporate and garnish with a mint sprig.
