How’s this for a novel idea? The Manor Chamber of Commerce invites everyone to the inaugural Manor Chip Fest at Manor High School (12700 Gregg Manor Rd.). The event features everything from a chocolate-chip cookie bake-off to cow-chip bingo and chips and salsa to chip and putt. The festival kicks off with a 5K run and will include food vendors, arts and crafts, kids activities, and live music. Festival admission is free, but contest entry fees vary. Enjoy an afternoon on the mist-cooled patio while browsing the various arts-and-crafts booths, sipping Fall Creek’s award-winning wines, and noshing on area barbecue, fruit, and cheese.
