The big news is the addition of the hot dogs previewed at the Qui first anniversary celebration in June. The Moto Dog is custom-made from Berkshire pork and piled with Karashi mustard, Kewpie mayonnaise, pickled cabbage, nori, negi, and shaved bonito – all on an Easy Tiger butter bun.
Other American classics get the Paul Qui treatment too. A panang curry fish sandwich is served with sweet chili sauce and green papaya. The Beef Pho’ Boy reinvents the Italian sub, with pho broth standing in for traditional au jus. Salt and vinegar chips appear for midnight snackers, gussied up as anchovy vinegar guafrettes.
The Cheer Ups location is the fifth location of ESK, counting the traveling pop-up truck. In March, East Side King opened their new Thai-Kun concept at Wonderland.
