The new incarnation of the longtime campus-area watering hole, the Dog & Duck Pub, is now open at 2400-A Webberville Rd. The new outlet, owned by Susan Forrester and Jeff McKillop, will be open at 7am for weekday breakfasts and 10am on weekends. Look for English pub grub standards as well as Austintatious dishes and plenty of beers on tap.

The owners of District Kitchen + Cocktails are opening a new concept, Oasthouse Gastropub, in Austin tomorrow. The new eatery with a contemporary farmhouse dining room will serve executive chef Amir Hajimaleki German-inflected pub food, offer 21 beers on tap, as well as craft cocktails.
