Where could wine lovers possibly sample wines from France, Spain, North and South America, Australia, Singapore, and Korea without a passport? The always popular Tour de Vin, of course.

The Wine and Food Foundation of Texas hosts the 11th annual Tour de Vin this Friday, August 23 from 6:30-9:30pm at the W Hotel in Austin (200 Lavaca St.). Guests will get the chance to try wines from all those far-flung locales alongside signature dishes prepared by some of Austin’s best chefs.

This year, proceeds from Tour de Vin will go to Austin Food for Life, a non-profit organization dedicated to helping employees of the food industry, including farmers and artisans, access affordable healthcare. For more information about their initiative, visit their website.

The VIP pre-party is already sold out, but general admission tickets are still available ($60 for Foundation members and $80 for non-members) and can be purchased online or at the door. For the complete listing of participating restaurants and to purchase tickets, go here.
