The Boat House parking lot was so packed with pickups both days we tried to have lunch, we gave up and moved on down the road. A phone call to the busy restaurant revealed that the menu is loaded with several good burgers, a chicken-fried steak, fried catfish, and a choice of chicken dishes. If a continuously full parking lot is any indication, the food must be pretty good.
