Dear Glutton,

I’m in town for SXSW, and while I am super excited to see Austin I’m also FREAKING OUT because there are so many cool things to see/hear/do/eat. Help me!

If you want to get absolutely freakin crazy, it doesn’t get any better than bopping around like a dork to Anamanaguchi, whose music is all video game good vibes and synthy loops, with just enough minor chords thrown in to give the whole operation a little gravitas. They go on at Cheer Up Charlies at 9pm, so your best option to get fueled is walking the few blocks to Easy Tiger, one of the best bakeries in Austin. There’s nothing worse than dance cramps, so steer away from their (admittedly excellent) massive sandwiches and share a snack board with a friend, paired with a couple of local beers off of their excellent and extensive list, or a cocktail, perhaps the Tiger’s Blood, a potent mixture of Aperol, beer, and Dimmi Liquore practically guaranteed to get you on your feet. And with the beer garden closing for the rest of the week, today is your only chance to get it during SXSW Music.
