Hong Kong Supermarket, 8557 Research Blvd. (northeast corner of Ohlen and 183), will host Austin’s only classic New Year’s/Spring Festival Parade, complete with Dragon Dancers provided by the UT Vietnamese Students Association, on Saturday, February 20, noon-2pm. Admission is free, and parents with children (who will go absolutely nuts over this event), or those with sensitive ears, should bring earplugs. Over one million firecrackers will be set off over a 30-minute period. It should be a blast! Call the supermarket at 339-2068.
