In keeping with their quest to showcase the finest in local artisan foods, cheesemongers John and Kendall Antonelli are hosting a pop-up chocolate shop from noon to 5pm on Sunday, Nov. 17, presenting the hand-made chocolates of Steven Lawrence of the Chocolate Maker’s Studio.

The Chocolate Maker’s Studio where Lawrence creates his exclusive line of hand-crafted chocolate confections is in a commercial kitchen he shares with local wedding cake artist Cocoa Paloma Desserts.

While Lawrence’s long-range plans include a retail chocolate shop of his own, for the moment his confections can be purchased online and at such local outlets as Prima Dora, Breed & Co., Royal Blue Groceries, Coterie Market, Hyde Park Market, Austin Wine Merchant, King Liquors, Atown Market, and Teo Gelato.

On Sunday, look for several stations to be set up inside the Cheese House, one offering three different flavors of hot sipping chocolates, another with truffles, a full assortment of chocolate bars, and still another table with dessert sauces. Chocolate lovers will not want to miss this.
