Another easy way to preemptively help make Hurricane Ike less of a disaster is to donate to our Capital Area Food Bank during their Drive-Thru Drive through this weekend.

In preparation for coming demands on relief supplies, CAFB is asking for your help to stock up, especially on bottled water, granola bars, canned meats (w/pop-top lids), peanut butter, and diapers. Just pull up, hand your items to a volunteer, and go.

The Capital Area Food Bank is located at 8201 South Congress Avenue and the Drive Thru Drive hours are:

Wed.-Fri., Sept. 10-12, 8am-5pm

Sat., Sept. 13, 11am-pm

Sun., Sept. 14, noon-5pm

And, of course, you can always donate $$$ online.
