From The Parish website
Leatherbag: Randy Reynolds came to Austin a Hurricane Rita refuge, but it didnt take long for him to settle in. He quickly formed Leatherbag, a four-man new sincerity revival band. The latest record, Hey Day, is a full length LP full of busty pub rock, 70s power pop and early 80s garage. Dont be fooled: though the sound honors the past, it fine-tunes an undeniable movement forward for rocknroll; adding a shot of youthful exuberance and wit to an increasingly self-conscious scene.
Wiretree: Wiretree is an indie pop rock outfit from Austin. Their debut, a self-titled EP, was released in 2005 under their own independent label, Cobaltworks Music. In January of 2007, Wiretree released their first LP entitled Bouldin. Their latest LP Luck released in late 2009 found its way on various year-end best of lists.
Hollywood Gossip: Hollywood Gossip is a four-piece pop band from Austin. Its members met while working as paparazzi at the 2007 Austin Film Festival. They soon came to the conclusion that, in Austin at least, music is more profitable than scandal. Hollywood Gossips honey dripper feeds the restless and lovelorn equally.
