Summer in Austin will officially begin tonight at 7:30 with the kickoff Blues on the Green show at Zilker Park with Max Gomez opening for Charlie Mars.

If you aren’t already familiar with the beloved concert series put on every year by local radio station 93.3 KGSR, you are particularly obliged to come experience Austin’s largest FREE concert series.

Bring your kids, dogs (on leashes), blankets, lawn chairs, and friends but leave your alcohol, cigarettes, and sass at home. There will be several food and drink vendors, but feel free to pack (and properly dispose of/recycle) your own water bottles and snacks.
