Holiday greetings, friends,
We each have the power to issue dignity and kindness, and our local nonprofits offer us one-stop shops to help streamline our contributions. Many thanks to these groups for their noble if thankless efforts.
Each year, The Austin Chronicle invites local nonprofits to submit lists of the things they need to serve our community. Part 1 of this list appeared in last week’s issue. Please research the details on what specific items are needed (some are legal mandates, so do call ahead to make sure your gift is appropriate). Hint: Nonprofits always need computers/accessories, copies/printing, cash, and your love (i.e., volunteer hours). Let’s fulfill some wishes, Austin.
