    Atelier Dojo: Remote Studios

    The local powerhouse of figurative painting, the art school that's the <i>smarti> school for artists of all kinds, they've got a painting-along-at-home series going to help you keep your skills honed in these socially restrictive times, featuring live costumed models posing on camera and a thriving community of creatives rendering that lovely human biotecture from their separate studios. "Join us for a three-hour costumed-model drawing session. Use any supplies you wish, listen to music, share your work, chat with others. It’s a great way to stay connected with your art community!"

They are two of the baddest muthas around, debutighlight'>ing theighlight'>ir collaboratighlight'>ive creatighlight'>ivighlight'>ity wighlight'>ith the sly, wry, “Luster Woo” exhighlight'>ibighlight'>it at the Butrighlight'>idge Gallery ighlight'>in the Dougherty Arts Center. Both are well-versed ighlight'>in playighlight'>ing around wighlight'>ith medighlight'>iums, craftighlight'>ing sculptures and paighlight'>intighlight'>ings created from all manner of found or upcycled ighlight'>items. For “Luster Woo,” MuthaGoose present theighlight'>ir nostalgighlight'>ic-but-modern takes on women’s ighlight'>issues. On Wednesday, Jighlight'>ill Garcighlight'>ia wighlight'>ill be present for the artighlight'>ist receptighlight'>ion, answerighlight'>ing questighlight'>ions about the duo’s process.
