    The city's fourth annual contest is open now for submissions from Austin students ages 10 to 18. In honor of Digital Inclusion Week (Oct. 2-6), young artists are asked to "picture a world where everyone is connected digitally." The top three entries win a monetary prize and will have their artwork displayed in city spaces.

    This program from the city of Austin, run by Farmshare Austin, has opened new market locations. There are now six weekly markets around town that sell Texas-grown produce, eggs, honey, and other groceries all at reduced prices. Most major cards are accepted at these markets and if you are a SNAP customer, you can also use your Lone Star card and Double Up Food Bucks. Thursday is dog-friendly for Pints & Pups and includes a "Brew Review" with beverage samplings around the ballpark. Friday features a Nolan Ryan bobblehead giveaway and fireworks. Saturday is Yellowstone night capped off with a Spazmatics concert, and Sunday has lots on offer for kiddos, including a Lego activity and screening of Ninjago: Dragons Rising.
