Austin Symphony Orchestra: Young People's Concerts
These concerts, conducted by Dr. Clifton Evans, aim to introduce young people (4th-6th graders) to classical music. Through the use of modern technology the audience gets an “up-close look” at the orchestra. Father-Son Weekend Camp Getaway
Activities include canoeing & kayaking, swimming, hiking, ropes course challenges, basketball, carnival games, robot building, volleyball, arts & crafts, and much more. Proceeds to go Austin Sunshine Camps, which provides free camp experiences to low-income youth and their families.Fri.-Sun., Nov. 9-11. $575 for room, board and entertainment per father/son pair. -
