There are a myriad things going on at your local library every day. Go online for a schedule of their story times, puppet shows, book groups, instructional classes, meetings, and more. Not to mention they have a ton of great books.
These concerts, conducted by Dr. Clifton Evans, aim to introduce young people (4th-6th graders) to classical music. Through the use of modern technology the audience gets an “up-close look” at the orchestra. This year the theme is “Symphonic Variations: Exploring Adaptation & Diversity in Music of the Americas.”
