  • Pre-College Showcase in Latin American Studies

    The Teresa Lozano Long Institute of Latin American Studies at The University of Texas at Austin will host a free pre-college showcase for rising high school sophomores, juniors, and seniors.     Easter Bunny Photos at Barton Creek Square

    Find the Bunny Photo Experience in the mall near Cheesecake Factory to get pics with the Easter Bunny. Bring pets along Sun., March 19, 6-8pm, where the Austin Humane Society will get part of the proceeds and will bring adoptable kittens. Kids with special needs are welcome for a sensory-friendly experience Sun., March 26, 10-11:30am.

    Fresh for Less Mobile Markets

    This program from the city of Austin, run by Farmshare Austin, has opened new market locations. There are now six weekly markets around town that sell Texas-grown produce, eggs, honey, and other groceries all at reduced prices. Most major cards are accepted at these markets and if you are a SNAP customer, you can also use your Lone Star card and Double Up Food Bucks. Locations and schedules are subject to change, so check the current info online to find one near you.
