In “Never-Ending Eastside Stories” (News, Aug. 26), the article incorrectly stated that Clinton Rarey was an Army officer; he was an enlisted soldier. Also, the story described Daniela Silva as the daughter of an undocumented immigrant. This is true, but her mother is no longer undocumented. The Chronicle regrets the errors.
