In “Dark Clouds Over Travis County Expo Center?” (Dec. 27, 2019), we reported that the city’s remaining debt from the 2002 Convention Center expansion “is expected to be cleared by 2021.” That should have read “was expected by the county to be cleared by 2021″; though Travis County cites a 2017 analysis to suggest that date is feasible, the official retirement date for those bonds isn’t until 2029. We appreciate the opportunity to clarify this.
