English is the official language of Pakistan, where almost
everyone speaks Urdu and many don’t speak English.

four-leaf clovers in a single day.

The literal translation of “banzai” is “10,000 years.”

In 1966, Chas Chandler invited Mitch Mitchell to audition as drummer for
Jimi Hendrix. By the toss of a coin flip, Mitchell beat out Aynsley Dunbar
(Frank Zappa & the Mothers of Invention) to be Hendrix’s new percussionist.
