A collection of 60 hand-carved wooden figures based on the Lord of the Rings books resides at the Gaston T. Gooch Library at Navarro College in Corsicana. The figures took 14 years to carve and were donated by Mr. and Mrs. Irvin Samuels of Corsicana.
