HIV-negative gay and bisexual men have a very special set of concerns within
the AIDS epidemic that, unfortunately, often go unrecognized. For almost a
year, AIDS Services of Austin has been providing support services for
non-infected gay and bisexual men through our Staying Negative Program. The
Staying Negative Program offers a safe, confidential, and supportive way for
non-infected men to reclaim our lives from HIV and to live comfortably and
happily in the knowledge that we are not infected. It is through this work that
we gain stronger relationships, begin eliminating chronic anxiety, and regain
our ability to think clearly and intelligently about our lives.

AIDS Services of Austin is proud to sponsor the Staying Negative weekend
retreat for HIV-negative gay and bisexual men, “Survival through Support”,
December 15-17. The retreat will be held at the beautiful Alma de Mujer Center
for Social Change, a tranquil, Hill Country retreat facility. Join us under the
stars for a weekend of self exploration, human connection, and support. You are
not alone! The weekend price is $45 per person and includes meals, room, and
transportation. There are many full and partial scholarships available. Call
406-6165 to reserve your place/for more information.
