A Titanic Celebration at the Messina Hof Wine Cellars’ Vintage House Restaurant on New Year’s Eve re-creates the meal served in the first-class dining room on the ocean liner’s last night. Each guest will receive an alias and biography of one of the original Titanic passengers. 409/778-9463.

Texas Exotic Feline Foundation in Boyd has changed its name to International Exotic Feline Foundation. The sanctuary continues on its mission to rescue abused and abandoned felines. The pride now includes 71 exotic cats, and in order to adopt any more cats funds must be found to pay for new residents’ care. To help, call 940/433-5092.
