As recent news stories suggest, the needs of people with AIDS are changing, yet many needs stay the same. Volunteers are still critical in providing quality services to the people from all walks of life who come to AIDS Services of Austin every day for help.

Direct Care Volunteers serve in many capacities:

*Some help out in the fast-paced, high-energy work of the Food Pantry;

*Some volunteers like to give daytime rides to medical and other appointments;

*Other volunteers like to help with house or yard work when clients cannot do it themselves;

*Others like to visit and talk with people.

If you’d like to help out with HIV/AIDS in our community, call
406-6167. An interesting and fulfilling experience is guaranteed!
