I am old enough to remember when Sears sent out their annual Wish Book catalog, and I have vivid memories of working my way through it page by glossy page, circling things I wanted. My list would have included Barbie Dream Houses, Star Wars toys, and Milton Bradley games. My tastes have changed a bit, and here’s what I’m currently jonesing for…

1. Cooking Classes

2. Dinner at Parkside (and isn’t Shawn Cirkiel dreamy?) or barring that, delicious and decadent treats from the fabulous La Boite.

3. Bulleit Bourbon

4. Art, Theater, Dance, Music any and all forms! Austin has so much to choose from, so I just hope all my friends keep making great art for me to see.

5. For my friends to donate money to Equality Texas, Texas Freedom Network or any other non-profit that furthers equal rights for all.
