Photography is all about cropping and angles.

As one of the infamous NEA 4, Tim Miller entered the queer (and non-queer) consciousness of the United States. Known for monologue-ish performance art pieces, Miller is always fresh, engaging, and politically savvy.

So it should come as no surprise that he’s stopping by Austin to perform his latest work, Lay of the Land. The show promises to be a look at queers on trial and takes Proposition 8 as it’s starting point. I’ll be there Friday, January 29, as the Austin Femme Mafia‘s Winter Wonderland Ball is on Saturday, and I’ve been planning my outfit for weeks.
