It’s a damn shame, really, teaching kids to discriminate. It’s not like high school isn’t already tough enough, but adorable, hunky Michigan teen Oak Reed gets to enjoy his Homecoming knowing that transphobia trumps a democratic vote.

But in an interesting twist to what could have turned out to be an across-the-board case of prejudice and injustice, the student body of Mona Shores High School, not only voted majorly for Reed, but now stands behind that vote.
