A block of panels from the AIDS Memorial Quilt

So unless you’ve been living in a debris-hut for the past couple months, you would know that the 2007 Austin AIDS Walk benefitting AIDS Services of Austin is coming up this Sunday, October 28.

Besides all the money, support, and consciousness-raising that will be going on, The NAMES Project will also be displaying sections of the AIDS Memorial Quilt. If you have never seen the quilt before, it is a powerful experience. No matter what else you have going on in your life this weekend, we here at the Gay Place encourage you: GO! GO! GO!
