This peculiar, fun song is a post-punk meets renaissance-fair lament on money. Alas, this excellent group is donesy. Check out their album Quilts.
“Night Faces” Jessica Pratt
Move over Joanna Newsom, Jessica Pratt just lamb-chopped you down the stairs a la Showgirls.
Now that Sonic Youth are gone, I nominate this group to fill the gaping, sloppy hole they left behind.
Since I referenced the show, I’d like to enter the intro into the Booty Bounce Hall of Fame. Azz everywhere, boys and girls.
