It's true, I love you.

In grade-school Spanish class all the gringos (including this Jew-gringo) had to choose a Spanish name. Being a kid who was prone to writing poetry and doing daily tarot card readings for my friends I rightly chose the name Invierno (that’s “Winter”). I know, radical. Since then I’ve always had a soft spot for the season…

…and last night’s (this weekend’s) weather reminds me of what I love about the colder climate: bundling up, hot chocolate, frozen ears, and of course there’s the Winter version of the Spring “Friskies” – where all you wanna do is rub up on someone. Yow!

Well queer snowflakes, this blingee is for you, because like snowflakes (or assholes) each one of you is different – in gender expression, in politics, in life, and in your feelings towards the new colder weather.

Be as safe or as risky as you wanner be this Halloween!
