Dang, Kathy Griffin sure has been gayin’ it up a lot lately, what with her trip to the Sydney Gay Mardi Gras (see photo) and her recent recognition from GLAAD. KG has, however, always been a friend to teh ghey.
Personally, I am liking her a lot more since her hysterically toppy turn with Anderson Cooper as they watched the ball drop together this past New Year’s.
Anyhoooo,
she’s in Austin tonight, and while somehow the Long Center forgot to send Kate and K8 their tickets, we won’t begrudge the rest of you your folderol. In fact, you may see us dangling (read: party crashing) via bungee from the big ring. I just hope KG is still sporting that fab new short and curly ‘do. We likes ’em short & curly.
Tonight’s show may be sold out, but for you lucky ticket holders, there’s more KG than just the (not-so) cheap seats. Three courses await K-Listers (for $49 per, $70 for winos) at TRIO at Four Seasons, if you reserve one of the slots between 5:30-6:30pm. If that’s a tad rich for ya, at least get there early and stay late for the D-Listers Happy Hour (6-8pm) and/or the Afterparty, both featuring DJ Orange Delight at the Long.
