Austin FC, H-E-B, and 512 Food Co. partnered to present the inaugural Queso Cup contest. Fans send in their best queso recipes to be judged by a team including Q2 Stadium's exec chef. The prize includes an autographed Austin FC soccer ball, a $500 H-E-B gift card, and two tickets to an upcoming Austin FC match. The winning queso will also be one of the three featured in the club’s Queso Fountain, said to be "the signature Austin FC queso experience."

Minor League Baseball is back, and they open the season playing against Oklahoma City Dodgers May 6-11, then the Sugar Land Skeeters May 13-18. It's kitten season! Austin Humane Society's annual event is fur-tual this year, featuring adorable kittens and cats available for adoption, virtual activities, a kitten supply drive, and paw-some happy hours. Donate online and check out one of the events::

Back for the 18th year, Maudie’s Moonlight Margarita Run brings two of Austin’s favorites together: running and margaritas! You can complete your 5K anytime through May 31, and a drive-through packet pickup party will be held on June 4, including yummy Maudie's chips & dips and margaritas. Each dollar raised benefits the Trail Foundation.

Are you a vendor who uses at least 50% reused or reclaimed materials in your handmade goods? Austin Creative Reuse is taking applications for their June 26-27 outdoor market.

Through songs, stories and crafts, kids will get the sign language vocabulary necessary for basic communication (naming foods, feelings, family members, objects, polite expressions), then stay to play on the playscape.
