You’re a person who enjoys experiencing new things, especially gambits of aesthetic expression.

So – how about a little audio radiance in your daily contemplation, citizen? How about a worldclass creator’s sensory investigations to expand your afternoon’s leisure time toward satori?

Right there in the bustling heart of Downtown, even.

Tarek Atoui is a Paris-based artist and composer whose work explores the medium of sound through a highly collaborative process. His dynamic installations, currently on view in The Whisperers at The Contemporary Austin (700 Congress), are both sound environments and spaces for activation – and you can experience these sonic wonderments for free this week.

That’s Aug. 3-7; Wed., noon-9pm; Thu.-Sun., noon-6pm, before the exhibition closes on August 14.
